Ayer Local is a community organization working to raise awareness of sustainability issues, reduce energy consumption, and promote local food & economy in order to build a resilient community that is sustainable for future generations.

We are an energetic community of people who are united in their
passion to raise awareness of sustainability issues and to be a part of
innovative solutions. In order to build a resilient, regenerative community
now and for future generations, we commit to:
              — reduce energy consumption
              — promote local food and a local economy
              — explore emerging models for sustainability
              — share our work collaboratively with other Locals and
transition movements

  – Partner with community groups, municipalities, schools, and others to
promote grassroots change in how we use energy.
